No. They can sit in your roster as 'Not on Giftivus yet' forever. An account only matters if they want to share a wish list of their own.
Can I really not see who reserved my things?
Correct. Your view shows availability only, and reserver identity is never sent to your device. Friends can't see each other either.
Will it email me constantly?
No. Nudges live in the app, one at a time. Invites are one email, sent once.
What does it cost?
Nothing during the beta. We'll say what happens next well before it happens, and never mid‑December.
